Maintaining Knowsley's Primary Route Network Bridges

2020 Knowsley is managing a programme of works to maintain and improve the bridges on Knowsley's Primary Route Network.  The three year programme includes major works on eight structures on the M62 and A561, including parapet replacement, deck re-waterproofing works, concrete repair works, bearing replacement, beam replacement works and bridge steelwork maintenance painting. 

Most recently within the programme, work has started on site for the £600k refurbishment of Ford Access Bridge which spans the busy A561 dual carriageway and provides a main access to the Jaguar Motor factory in Halewood.
